What is ozone?

Ozone  is an unstable form (activated) of oxygen that it contains the air, in fact is a gas that is generated in natural form in the atmosphere, product of diverse climatic and environmental conditions, and has a scent similar to the one of the "wet earth".

Industrially it is generated applying an electrical tension sufficient to excite I oxygenate turning it ozone , by means of ozone generators (known also like:  ionizes, purifying  ozone, etc.)

Ozone in the atmosphere

The highest levels of ozone in the atmosphere are in the stratosphere, in a region also known as the ozone layer between about 10 km and 50km above the surface (or between about6 and 31 miles). This layer surrounds earth and protects if from the dangerous solar rays. Ozone its mostly produced from ultraviolet rays reacting with oxygen, and is the only substance in the atmosphere that can absorb the dangerous ultraviolet (UV) radiation that would be harmful to most form of life in earth.

 Ozone applications

Like main actions, ozone is a gas with a great disinfectant power , and a lot of industrial applications.

In the United States  and EU, ozone has been declared an essential requirement for the potable water obtaining in the purification systems.

Main Applications:
  • Environmental treatments.
    CLEANING (with industrial ozone generator)
    Scents elimination.
    Mould elimination.
Germs, virus and bacteria elimination Water treatments.
    Syndrome of the ill building.
    Ozone therapy.
  •  Disinfection Plan.
